Thank you for using Nailit!, a Mixed Reality application developed for the Meta Quest 3 and 3s. 

Welcome to the Privacy Policy of AnotheReality Srl. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the data handling standards required by Meta’s Developer Data Use Policy and the Meta Horizon Platform.

This Privacy Policy explains what data our MR App Nailit! (“the App”) processes, how it is used, and how users can exercise their rights, including the right to request deletion of their data. 

1. Data Processed

The App uses certain Meta Platform Features that involve processing user platform data during gameplay. Specifically, the App accesses the following personally identifiable information (PII) provided by Meta:

  • Meta Username – Handled purely by Meta services. Required for add-on content
  • Meta User ID – Handled purely by Meta services. Required for add-on content
  • Meta Profile Pictures – Handled purely by Meta services. Required for add-on content.

This information is processed exclusively through Meta’s API, in accordance with Meta’s own platform policies.

When you first launch the app, you are asked to enter a username. This username is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or shared externally.

2. How the Data Is Used

The data described above is used solely to Manage in-app purchases.

No additional data such as email, real name, location, voice, photos, or profile pictures – is accessed or processed.

3. Data Collection and Retention

We do not export any of the user data accessed through Meta services.
All data is:

  • Handled by Meta’s platform infrastructure
  • Temporarily processed in-memory during gameplay
  • Automatically discarded when the session ends

We do not use external servers or third-party services to store any user data.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not share any user data with third parties.
No third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising platforms, or external APIs are included in the App.
All data interactions occur strictly within the Meta platform environment.

5. How to Request Data Deletion

Please include your Meta Username and describe the request. We will respond within 30 days, as required by applicable data protection laws.

6. Children’s Privacy

This App is not intended for users under the age defined by applicable data protection laws.
We do not knowingly process any data from minors.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child’s data has been accessed inappropriately, please contact us at the email above.

7. Hand Tracking and Mixed Reality

Nailit! uses the Quest’s hand tracking and passthrough features to display nail art on your real hands in Mixed Reality. This data remains on-device only and is not stored or processed externally.

8. User-Created Content

Users may save their nail art creations locally on their own device. The app does not upload or share this content in any way. Any sharing (e.g. recording or screenshots) must be done manually via Meta’s system-level features and falls outside of this app’s scope.

9. In-App Purchases

Nailit! is free to use. Optional downloadable content (DLC) is available via the Meta in-app purchase system. We do not collect or process any payment information.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Changes will be published with an updated “Last Updated” date.

If material changes occur, we may inform users via App Store listing or in-app notice.

By using Nailit!, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the use of Meta platform services as described herein.
