Last Updated: 14/07/2025
Welcome to the Privacy Policy of AnotheReality Srl. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the data handling standards required by Meta’s Developer Data Use Policy and the Meta Horizon Platform.
This Privacy Policy explains what data our VR app 2121 – Arcade (“the App”) processes, how it is used, and how users can exercise their rights, including the right to request deletion of their data.
1. What Data We Access and Process
While 2121 – Arcade does not collect or store personal information directly, it does access platform data provided by Meta for the sole purpose of enabling the in-game leaderboard feature.
The following data may be accessed at runtime:
- Meta Username – displayed to the player and other users within the in-game leaderboard.
- Meta User ID – used internally by Meta’s leaderboard service to track and manage score entries (not shown to users).
We do not collect, store, log, export, or process this data on our servers. All access is done via Meta’s platform APIs and limited to runtime display only.
2. How the Data Is Used
The accessed data is used exclusively to:
- Display the player’s position on the in-game leaderboard
- Show rankings and scores of other players in the same leaderboard context
The Meta Username is visible in the leaderboard interface to other users.
The User ID is used internally by Meta’s platform to associate scores with users and avoid duplication or manipulation.
We do not process this data for any other purpose (e.g. analytics, marketing, or profiling), and we do not retain it.
3. Data Retention
We do not collect or store any user data ourselves.
- Data accessed via Meta’s APIs is used temporarily during gameplay
- It is processed in-memory only, not logged, saved, or transferred
- All leaderboard functionality is managed by Meta’s infrastructure, not by us
No cookies, tracking systems, analytics SDKs, or cloud storage solutions are used.
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not share any user data with third parties.
No third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising platforms, or external APIs are included in the App.
All data interactions occur strictly within the Meta platform environment.
