Boscolo & Coin
The beauty of travel is not measured only by destinations reached, but by the emotions experienced along the way. With this philosophy, Boscolo Viaggi and COIN, in collaboration with AnotheReality, bring the charm of Andalusia into a new dimension through Virtual Reality. Inside an immersive experience developed on the Reflectis platform, visitors are invited to explore, play, and discover—transforming their curiosity about travel into an engaging and interactive journey.
The project
Boscolo Viaggi and COIN, together with AnotheReality, present the “Grand Tour of Andalusia in VR”, an interactive proof of concept developed as part of Cross Enabler, the innovation initiative promoted by the Politecnico di Milano.
The goal is to create an experience that blends travel, entertainment, and technological innovation, immersing users in a virtual journey through a bright, colorful, and welcoming digital Spain.
The POC is a single-player experience, entirely in Italian, accessible via WebGL on PC through the Reflectis SaaS platform.
The customer experience
Once logged into Reflectis, users enter AnotheReality’s virtual showroom—transformed into a summer-inspired Mediterranean environment: warm colors, sand, beach balls, sunny landscapes, Boscolo travel posters, and COIN lifestyle products that evoke the spirit of vacation and exploration.
At the center of the experience stands a welcome panel, inviting visitors to explore the environment and interact with multiple discovery points, starting with the map of the Grand Tour of Andalusia.
By clicking on the different destinations—from Málaga to Granada, from Seville to the Costa del Sol—users can access detailed descriptions, images, and curiosities about the Boscolo itinerary.
Adding a playful twist, a “quiz hunt” challenges users with four interactive questions, each linked to a hidden 3D object within the environment.
Every correct answer unlocks a new clue, encouraging exploration and learning through play.
The journey ends with a recap panel, displaying the number of correct answers and inviting participants to continue exploring the showroom’s virtual content.
The challenge
The project’s purpose is to show how immersive technology can enhance brand experiences and foster emotional connections between customers and the involved brands.
Boscolo Viaggi strengthens its position as a storyteller of meaningful travel, while COIN integrates its lifestyle identity into an innovative and engaging context.
The challenge is not only technical but also narrative: conveying the spirit of Andalusia and the joy of discovery through a virtual language that feels intuitive, captivating, and memorable.
Impact and results
This proof of concept marks a first step toward a new model of experiential promotion in the travel and retail sectors.
Through the Reflectis platform, AnotheReality enables a digital journey that merges play, learning, and immersive storytelling.
The “Grand Tour of Andalusia in VR” turns the idea of travel into a sensory experience—each click a step through Seville’s lively streets or Ronda’s breathtaking landscapes.
With this initiative, COIN and Boscolo prove that innovation can be a bridge between emotion and knowledge, technology and culture—just like travel itself.
