Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that superimposes computer-generated images on a user’s view of the real world, thus providing a composite view.
Most widely spread immersive technology
You can use it on a smartphone
Interacts with reality through marker or AI algorithms
Indoor and outdoor tour with interactive infos and directions.
Brand games, single or multi player/group
Support and interactive manuals always at your fingertips.
Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that superimposes computer-generated images on a user’s view of the real world, thus providing a composite view. There is little or no spatial interaction with the environment, avoiding the need of costly depth cameras. This is why augmented reality is the most widely spread immersive technology out there, using standard hardware such as portable personal devices (smartphones) or rugged head mounted displays for enterprises uses.
The complexity of augmented reality comes into play when defining how to interact with the real world: how can the camera recognize different kind of objects out there? Through markers or more complex Computer Vision algorithms, a branch of Artificial Intelligence. How to define user’s position inside or outside a building? Through iBeacon technology or simply through GPS/Localization systems.
Mixed reality (MR), sometimes referred to as hybrid reality, is the merging of real and virtual worlds, where real and digital objects coexist in the same environment.
Reinvents the relationship between human beings and digital environments
Needs untethered solutions such as Microsoft Hololens headset
Perfect merge between physical and digital objects
Displays contextualised contents in the environment.
Data, statistics and informations shown in an interactive interface.
Hands-free training and support on-the-job.
Mixed reality (MR), sometimes referred to as hybrid reality, is the merging of real and virtual worlds. The idea is to produce new environments and visualizations where physical and digital objects co-exist and interact in real time. By most XR enthusiasts and evangelists, it is considered as the technology that will reinvent the way human beings interact with digital environments.
Mixed reality is experienced through a head mounted display (HMD) that can be tethered or untethered to a personal computer. Despite the relative success of Meta 2 headeset, the only tethered display available on the market to day, the future is clearly headed towards untethered solutions, such as Microsoft Hololens of Magic Leap One.

Some projects: this is how we have used augmented reality and mixed reality for our clients.
